We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, at the age of 70, John Thomas Kirby of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Betty Lou Kirby (Megede); and his siblings, Michael Kirby, Joseph Kirby and Mary McMurray.
He is survived by: his children, Lora Hegeman, Lawrence, Stacey Torres, Steven Stauffer (Brandi), Chris Kirby (Debi) of Omaha, NE and Andy Kirby (Ellie) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Erin Kirby, Sara Hegeman, Alex Mische (Taylor), Jackson Kirby (Jordan), Devin Kirby (Christian), Samantha Torres (Tommy), Caden Kirby, Eli Torres and Kaylee Stauffer; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Jordyn and Kaceton; his grandchildren, Brother Matt Kirby (Marian) and Sister Kate Pfeifer (Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Callie Kirby and Bernard Kennedy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
