He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Busche, Sr. and Betty (Kerr); his sister Sheryl A. Wilkening; and his pets, Blackie, Rufus, Shai and George.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara L. Esluer; his daughters, Gretchen Meitler (Brian) of Tonganoxie, KS and Diana L. Busche of Omaha; his grandchildren, Madison J. Duncan Stark (Meitler) of Tonganoxie, Gabriel Busche Meitler, Nathanael Esluer Meitler of Tonganoxie, KS and Brother William "Bill" Busche of Fremont; and his pet Susie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
