She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John Thomas and Catherine Agnes Skinner (Luby); and her siblings, James Richard Skinner, John Thomas Skinner and Mary Catherine Wynne.
She is survived by: her spouse Halley Kampschroeder; her daughters, Kristin Kerrigan (John), Megan Laurent (Brit) and Katy True (John); her grandchildren, Owen, Conor Kerrigan, Elias, Halley Laurent, Isaiah, Stella, Naomi and Lucy True; her sister Sharon Radovich; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Wynne and Sylvia Martin. She is also survived by her family and many close friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to Corpus Christi Catholic School or to St. John's Catholic School and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
