She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Ernst and Irma Kiser Ernst; her husband C. Thomas Bean; her son David Thomas Bean; and her siblings, Claude, James Ernst and Thelma Gleason.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Liam Callahan (Meghann) and Kevin Callahan; her children, Crew and Riley; and her grandchildren, Cheri Finnegan (Tim) of Florida, Christopher Carpenter (Dana) of Pennsylvania, Fernando Escaffi (Chelsea) of North Carolina and Jazmin Escaffi of Virginia. She is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
