She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Arthur Lewis and Theo Maye Lewis (Keith); her stepmother Hazel Lewis; her siblings, Marilyn Gilson, Maurita Miller, Linda Hudiberg and Kirk Lewis; and her stepsister Erma Tattershal.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Lynn Ballenger (Carla) of Lawrence, KS and Lisa Dawn Ballenger of Aurora, CO; her husband Joseph E. "Pete" Ballenger; her grandsons, Tyler Pelley (Jordyn) of Parker, CO, Austin Pelley of Aurora, CO and Connor Ballenger (Mallory) of Hillsboro, OR; and her great grandchildren, Brody and Makynzie Pelley.
