With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet (Jan) Kay Girnius (Lawrence, Kansas), who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Riley Parker; her son James Michael Ingram; her brother Charles R. Parker; her son-in-law Kai Hovind (Glen "Corky" Reed); and her sisters, Shirley and Darlene.
She is survived by: her children, William Girnius (Ann) of Lawrence, KS and Deborah Girnius-Hovind (Oslo); and her grandchildren, Pete, Philicia (John) and Christina (David). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
