She was predeceased by: her husband Warren R. Coons; and her siblings, Imogene Shelton, Geraldine Bachers and Jefferson Davis Howell, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Bownds of The Woodlands; and her children, Philip (Deborah) of Boynton Beach, Robert (Jill) of Durango and Susan Wade (John) of Lawrence. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
