It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James E. Colson of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Clinton, Iowa, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore H. Colson and Annie Mae Colson (Hinton); and his sisters, Barbara Jean Williams and Dorothy Ann Hoenicke. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Osborne (Kathy); his children, Kevin Colson (Ellyse) of Aurora, Colorado and Brianne Wilson (Jeff) of Tomball, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jonah, Hollis, Archer Colson, Cole and Miles Wilson. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
The family respectfully suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to VNA Hospice, LMH Cancer Center Expansion or to St. John Catholic Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
