As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ivan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Roscoe and Tilda Percival (Campbell); his wife Leta Mae Hodges; and his brothers, Melvin Percival (Marion) and Eugene Percival (Judy).
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Weible (Mike), Gaye Nicholson, Jolene Janak (Michael) and Steven Conner (Connie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (1517 E 15th St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
