It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerda Claudette Harris of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Lindsborg, Kansas, who passed away on December 4, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anerd Mauritz Anderson (Swede) and B. Laverne Anderson (Drogemeier); and her grandson Jake Best. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Harris (Gib); and her children, Tracey Stout (Phil) of Fort Collins, CO, Trudy Harris of Overland Park, KS and Troy Harris (Sarah) of LaSalle Ontario. She is also survived by three children and their spouses, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Lawrence KS, Saint Jude Children's Hospital, or LUC Boys Ranch may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.
