Dempsay of Lawrence, Kansas, born in North Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wilson and Elva Wilson (Elliott); and her husband Boyd Hiatt (Clifford Dempsay). She is survived by: her sons, Lloyd Hiatt of Council Bluffs, Floyd Hiatt (Jenny) of Lawrence and Jerry Hiatt of Junction City, Kansas; her sister Shirley Ehrlich of Springfield, Oregon; and her grandchildren, Michele Hiatt, Floyd Leon Hiatt, Jr. and Joey Hiatt. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
