With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Dale Lawellin of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Oswego, Kansas, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Dale Lawellin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Lawellin and Georgie Lawellin (Hall); and his spouse Shirley Rose Baecker. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Bost (Floyd), Janet Lawellin-Erwin (Joe), Joyce Shontz (Danita) and Laura McGaw (Sean); his sisters, Doneta Lawellin and Sarah Zoellner; and his grandchildren, Megan Bland, Cody Bost, Krystal Gonzalez, David Erwin, Lydia Shontz-Hochstedler, Jessica Long, Robert Long and Kristen McGaw. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
