He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Pinegar and Leona Pinegar (Traw); his son Jason DeWayne Grammer of Judy's; and his brothers, Darrell and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Gale Pinegar (Kerrie), Rex Edgar Pinegar (Penny) and Michelle Grammer Swisher (Shawn); his wife Judy Pinegar; his sister Beverly Day (Larry); and his mother-in-law Maxine Graves. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gale's name to FOP – Fraternal Order of Police or First Christian Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
