It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Eugene Supernaw in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on February 22, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Supernaw and Pearl Supernaw; his siblings, Clayton Supernaw and Lois Riggs; and his son Dennis Supernaw.
He is survived by: his daughter Shirley Osburn of Lawrence; his brother Donald Supernaw of Palmdale, CA; his grandchildren, Jamie of Lawrence, Joshua of Lawrence, Genia of Lawrence, Brandy Supernaw of Lawrence and Brianna Erickson (Matt) of Natoma, Kansas; his great grandchildren, Jacalyn Marcum-Supernaw of Overland Park, Gabe of Natoma, Kyla of Natoma, Colton of Natoma, Emmitt Erickson of Natoma, Haily Roberts of Topeka, Joshua Supernaw, Jr. of Topeka, Markayla Millard of Lawrence, Jordan Supernaw of Lawrence and Daniel Supernaw of Lawrence; his great great grandchild David Supernaw of Lawrence; and his nephew Clarence Riggs (Tammy).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044). The military honors will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
