She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Montgomery and Ruth Isabell Estelle (James); her siblings, Howard M. Estelle Jr., Everett Estelle, Kenneth Estelle and Beverly M. King; her grandson Enrique A. Colon III; her brother-in-law James R. Shepard; and her son-in-law Gilbert H. Lane, Jr. (Ermal Shepard).
She is survived by: her children, Julie D. Lane and Charles E. Shepard (Lissa); her siblings, Karlene Moore (Curtis), Norman "Tony" Estelle (Jessie), Loretta Carraher and Lynn Estelle; her grandchildren, Jessica Y. Colon, Catherine Shepard, Jolie Shepard, Caleb Shepard and Colin Shepard; her great grandchild Jordan A. Colon; and her siblings-in-law, Steven C. Shepard (Ruth), William H. Shepard (Alecenia), Cleo J. Jackson (Greg) and Mary Shepard.
