She was predeceased by: her mother Beverly June Jones (Carter). She is survived by: her father Dr. Benjamin Franklin Jones of Houston, TX; her caregiver Liz Zayat of Lawrence, KS; her siblings, Marianna Nanson (Jerry) of Colleyville, TX and David Jones (Liliya) of Overland Park, KS; her nieces and nephews, Nathan Nanson (Beth) of Sealy, TX, Kara Barber (Wade) of Rogers, AR, Lauren Nanson of Los Angeles, CA, Caroline Nanson of Brooklyn, NY, David Nanson of Austin, TX, Andrei, Thomas and Phillip Jones of Overland Park, KS; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Quinlan, Rhys, Evie and Hannah.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Elaine's name to the Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church (Lawrence, KS) or Camp Peniel (Marble Falls, TX) or OU Baptist Collegiate Ministry (Norman, OK) and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
