He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Brinkley and Gladys Brinkley (Stukey); and his siblings, David Brinkley and Carol Koep. He is survived by: his wife Mary Adsit; his children, Elizabeth Pateta (Maka) and Adam Brinkley (Anna Paradis); his brother Don Brinkley; his grandchild A. J.; and also, Bela and Lucien.
