With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Duane Mortensen of Lawrence, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mortensen and Ella Mortensen; and his brothers, Darrel, Virgil and Vernon.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Mortvedt; his children, Mary Mortensen of Lawrence, KS, Ruth Mortensen of Chicago, IL and Neal Mortensen (Trena) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Tristan Mortensen (Erika Schlichter) of Riner, VA and Tianna Maschger (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Elan and Layla; and his siblings, Ronald Mortensen (Barbara) of Valley, NE and Peggy Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
