It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hall Hanger Adams of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Hall Hanger and David Lloyd Hanger; and her brothers, David and Kenneth. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Adams McKean (Doug) and Craig David Adams of Lawrence; her grandchildren, Lindsey, DC of Washington, Adam Vincenzo Crifasi of Silver Spring, MD, Jane Grace Stull (Eric) of LaCrosse, WI, Sheryl Pamela Brock (Matthew), Mary Dorothy Davidson (Colin) of Milwaukee, WI and Robert Duke Adams Cleveland (Selin); and her great grandchildren, Andie, Emmy Stull, Hope and Matthew Brock.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Voices on the Border (votb.org), a humanitarian organization led by her granddaughter, Lindsey, to support peoples of El Salvador or Lawrence's local food bank (justfood.org).
