It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Emanuel Skabelund (Lawrence, Kansas), who passed away on January 7, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Emanuel Skabelund and Evelyn Skabelund; his brothers, Dean and Elmer; his wife Dana Skabelund; his daughters, Alyson Von Feldt (Douglas Von Feldt) and Anhara Disko; and his grandchildren, Jacob Von Feldt, Sophia Von Feldt, Meredith Von Feldt, Aidan Von Feldt and Ashtyn Webb.

Donald Emanuel Skabelund, 88, died after a long decline caused by Alzheimer's disease. "Don" was predeceased by his parents Emanuel and Evelyn (née Olson) Skabelund and brothers Dean and Elmer.
