He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Young and Nadine Young (Payton); his sister Marian Slack; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Nina Howell; and his siblings-in-law, Darla, Jim Mortensen and Bill Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Young; his children, Kenneth Young (Toni) of Fort Collins, Colorado, David Young (Cindy) of Lawrence and Dawn Wilson (Mike) of Pleasant View, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Summer Meyer (Jeffrey), Kristen Geyer (Adam), Cody Wilson, Jesse Wilson (Ashley), Shannon Beemer (Kyle Robinson), Jessie Jamison (Seth) and Jayden Young; and his brother-in-law Robert. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
