With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Ann Olson (Lawrence, Kansas), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guy S. Bruce and Dixie Bruce (Hicklin); her husband Oscar Adolph "Bud" Olson; her brother Norman Bruce of St. Louis; and her children, Susan Johnson Conley (Tom) of Kansas City, Martin Johnson (Jana) of Lawrence, Lynn Olson (Karen) of Lawrence and Kathy Olson Nichols (Nick) of Hardyville, Kentucky. She was also cherished by great grandchildren.
The family welcomes memorial contributions in her name to Plymouth Congregational Church and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.
