With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dick Laverentz of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Laverentz and Opal Laverentz (Sinclair); and his siblings, Raymond Laverentz, Eleanor Johnston, Harold Laverentz and Margie Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Laverentz; his sons, Schuyler Laverentz of West Plains, MO. and Kale Laverentz (Jennifer) of Oskaloosa, KS.; and his granddaughter India Laverentz. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Memorial contributions can be made to Vaughn-Trent Community Services.
