He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey M. Barnhart and Lena Barnhart (McCracken); and his brothers, Keith, Donny and Bob Barnhart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Liz Barnhart, Tracy Wingebach and Lori Barnhart; and his grandchildren, Tyler Wingebach, Stefanie Wingebach, Lucas Wingebach and Shawna Gilkey.
The family suggests memorials in Dewey's name to Douglas County Visiting Nurses or The Parkinson's Foundation and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Lawrence Chapel.
