It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Denis Callaghan of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Callaghan (Seck) and Edward J. Callaghan; and his son Patrick Callaghan. He is survived by: his family Manhattan; his wife Donna Callaghan; his children, Edward (Valerie Hedquist), Maria Good (Rodney), Marc (Tina), Nick (Jaime) and Molly Sanderson (Matt); and his brother Bernard (Patricia). He is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Denis wanted donations to be made in his memory to the Nature Conservancy of Kansas, earmarked for the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, where his son Patrick served as a Park Ranger for a period of time.
