He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Pilkington; his daughters, Kyra Shimizu (Richard) of Superior, CO and Shyla Strathman (Max) of Lawrence; his sister Arlene Girton of Moundridge, KS; and his sister-in-law Delores Giauque (Douglas) of Silver Spring, MD..
