We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 76, David Wolcott Olmsted (Lawrence, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Herbert W. Olmsted; his brother Robert P. Olmsted; and his mother Faye Olmsted Jones (Jones). He is survived by: his children, Peter and Beth; his wife Jessica; his grandchildren, Quinn Ballbach, Colin David Ballbach, Lawton Ballbach, Joshua Maclean, Ethan David Olmsted, Rachel Maclean and Eli Olmsted; his sister Betsy Faulkner; and also, Kate, Brett Ballbach of London, UK, Peter, Crystal Olmsted of Lawrence, KS, Beth and Matt Maclean of Seattle, WA.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 852, Lawrence, or Wounded Warrior Project, in care of the funeral home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS, 66044.
