It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Joe Lynn Mooney in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Kenneth and Florence Louise Owens Mooney; his siblings, James Mooney, Kevin Mooney, Brenda Burton and Wanda Adams; and his grandson Aaron Hemelrick.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Sleeper; his children, Mary Ann Keeton (Brian) and William Mooney; his stepchildren, Christina Lowe (Matt) of Belton, MO and Dale Sleeper; and his brother Kenneth Mooney (Cheryl). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
