She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sammons and Eddie Sammons (Floyd); her grandparents, Elizabeth, Albert Hedlund and John Floyd; her sister Jerry Ashley; her son Dallas W. Ruehlen Jr. (Carol); her husband Dallas W. Ruehlen Sr.; and her granddaughter Megan E. Kersting.
She is survived by: her aunt Ida; and her children, Elizabeth "Libby" Montgomery (Steve), Forrest Ruehlen (Karla), Roberta "Robbie" Ruehlen, Timothy "Tim" Ruehlen (Toby), Mary Hammer (Doug), Georgia Anderson (Gregg) and Kathryn Kersting (Bert).
