She was predeceased by: her mother Doris LaOpal Hartman; and her nephew Kan. She is survived by: her wife Judith Galas; her daughter Amy Dorsey (Craig Mays) of Overland Park; her grandson Gabe Owings (Lyss Bezner) of Lawrence; her goddaughters, Zoe and Ava Graber-Weickert; her close friend Helen Warren of St. Paul, Minn.; her siblings-in-law, Peggy, Blaine Sampson and Diane West (Kan) of Kansas City; her aunts, Carol and Sharon Norris; her uncle Jim Replogle (Penn) of New Oxford; and also, Deb Graber and Katharine Weickert of Lawrence.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Plymouth Congregational Church (925 Vermont St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
In lieu of flowers, Cindy asked that contributions be made to Douglas County Hospice, of Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assoc.
