He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dovie Ballard Jr. and Mary Lena Clayton Ballard; his wife Denise Ballard of Philadelphia, PA; his children, Casey Ballard Jr. (Christina) of Lawrence, KS, Micah, Christian Ballard of Palm Springs, Reece and Vera; his sisters, Marva Ballard-Smoot of Montgomery, AL, Lynn Ballard of Montgomery, AL and Stephanie Mitchell (Arthur) of Montgomery, AL; his aunt Rosalee Cunningham Short of Cleveland, OH; his cousins, Roderick Kimbrough (Semecca) of Holland, OH and Jennifer Short of Cleveland, OH; and his friend Rev. Stacey Jenkins. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives, friends.
The family is grateful for the care and compassion Casey received at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, where his organs were donated to help others.
