She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Kennedy and Bernice Kennedy (Goff); her brother Rory Kennedy Sr.; and her brother-in-law Joe Kirby. She is survived by: her husband John Kirby; her children, Lora Hegeman, Lawrence, Stacey Torres, Steven Stauffer (Brandi), Chris Kirby (Debi) of Omaha, NE and Andy Kirby (Ellie) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Erin Kirby, Sara Hegeman (Matt), Alex Mische (Taylor), Jackson Kirby (Jordan), Devin Kirby (Christian), Samantha Torres (Tommy), Caden Kirby, Eli Torres and Kaylee Stauffer; her great grandchildren, Brantley, Jordyn and Kaceton; her siblings-in-law, Matt Kirby (Marian), Kate Pfeifer (Dennis) and Callie Kirby; and her brother Bernard Kennedy Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
