She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bunch and Irene Bunch (Roberts); and her siblings, Helen Baker, Dorothy Cotter, George Bunch and Walter Bunch.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hawkins, Chelly Sumner (Bret) and JD Belzer; her grandchildren, Jenni, Becca, Terrance and Zachary; and her sister Ruth Belzer.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Carol's name may be given to Lawrence Humane Society or Visiting Nurses Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
