She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Nelson and Virginia Nelson (DePlue); her former husband John Herschell; her husband Duane Newman; her daughters, Rachelle (Herschell) of Eudora, Griffin (Dennis) of Eudora and Sarah (Newman) of Eudora; and her grandchildren, Ryan McCabe (Katie Feretti), Kaitlyn Gentry, Rylee Griffin and Kamden Gentry. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
