He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Stoner; his parents, Clarence Rice and Esther Rice; and his brothers, Virgil and Clyde.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Stephen, Stanley, Sharon, David and Daniel. He is also survived by 1 daughter and 4 sons, 20 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
