He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Newman and William Newman; and his brothers, Steven and Robert Newman. He is survived by: his daughter Leah Newman Tolbert (Xavier); his siblings, William Newman (Yolonda), Jacqueline Newman and Barbara Mumford; his grandchildren, Willow and Kallan Tolbert; and his friend Staci Rodriguez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
