He was predeceased by: his daughter Candace Leigh Gay (Adolph); and his father Harvey Richard "Dick" Adolph. He is survived by: his mother Juliet Adolph (Hess) of Colby; his wife Kathi; his son Kristopher Cole "K. C." Adolph (Christine); his grandson Logan Leigh of Burke, VA; his daughter Chandlar Adolph of Lawrence; his son-in-law Brandon Gay of Norton; his sisters, Kristin Issinghoff (Greg) of Lawrence and Jennifer Smith (Ab) of Sharon Springs; his brother-in-law Vincent Glad (Tenley) of Colby; his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Corbin, Treasure and Tanner; and his great-niece Wylie.

Memorials are suggested to the Candace Gay Memorial Scholarship through the Norton County Community Foundation.
