He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin McGehee and Doris McGehee; his spouse Denette Holthaus; his children, Vivian Wing, Rosa Schwab, Geneva Lynn McGehee, Bobby Joe McGehee, Jr., Richard Sparrow, Melvin Wayne and Marvin Payne McGehee; and his granddaughter Tanya Verge.
He is survived by: his children, Robin McGehee, William McGehee of Missouri City, MO and Nelson Sparrow. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and various in-laws.
