With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Mitscher of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Ferndale, Michigan. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Lester A. Mitscher; her daughter Katrina; her brothers, Louis and Alan McRoberts; and her parents, Louise McRoberts (Thomas) and John McRoberts.
She is survived by: her sons, Kurt (Karen) of Olathe, KS and Mark (Janet) of Shawnee, KS; and her grandchildren, Mary Mitscher, Pat McKenney, Trevor Mitscher, Shayla and Steven Clark.
The family requests that donations be made via Rumsey-Yost to Monarch Hospice, which provided her with dignity and love in her last days.
