She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Jeffrey of Parkinson's; her parents, Harold Reynolds and Stella M. Jothen Reynolds; her husband D. Leon Curtis; her sister Eleanor Sowter of Leavenworth, Kan.; her children, Rebecca Giles (Kevin) of Stillwater, Minn, Lianna Corteville (Tim) of Chesterfield, Randy (Karan) and Phil of Lawrence; her brothers, Dale Reynolds (Kaye) of Independence and Roger Reynolds of Kansas City; her brother-in-law Charles Sowter of Leavenworth; her grandchildren, Heather Peacock (Jim) of Columbia Falls, Mont, Harmony MacDonald (Jim) of Waverly, Neb., Hillorie Giles-Brauch (Dwayne) of Cottage Grove, Minn, Erin Corteville and Austin Corteville of Chesterfield; and her great grandchildren, Haylie, Kazin, Kimberly, Tyler, Seanna, Liam, Kyleigh and Kayde.

In lieu of flowers, Ardith requested that donations be made to University Community of Christ, Lawrence, or Graceland University DeBarth Scholarship Fund, or to the donor's choice.
