He is survived by: his children, Linda Hann (Ernie) of Indianapolis, IN, Julie Winkle (James) of Chesterfield, MO, Dale Scherl of Lawrence, Steven Scherl (Theresa), Michael Scherl (Jackie) of Upper Arlington, OH, Tracey Pendlum (Matt) of Fishers, IN and Daniel Scherl (Jolene) of Valley Village, CA; his grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth, Kelly Hann, Emily Meuth (Jake), Allison Winkle, Erin Scherl, Liam Scherl, Zachary Scherl, Sean Scherl, Phaedra, Leland, Aurora, Quinlin Scherl, Adrea Pendlum and Max Pendlum; and his significant others, Sandy Berk and Uncle.
