He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl A. Rose and Dorothy D. Kern Rose; his wife Gaynell Ann Ashton; his daughters, Lindsey Ann Rose, Heather Lynn Thompson of Hanston, KS and Stacy Marie Rose of Olpe, KS; his siblings, David Rose of Salina, KS, Betty Rose of Larned and Diane Ring of Larned; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Austin Thompson, William Howard Thompson, Annabeth Morgan Thompson and Morgan Odessa Smith.
