He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Gene Sr. and Barbara Hermes Linder. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones; his stepsons, Richard Emily (Samantha), Robert Emily (Beth) and Ronald Emily (Melanie); his sister Jeannine Potter (Chris); and his stepsisters, Melissa Hawtof and Rachel Worden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; step mother.

Memorials may be given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
