He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryant LaRue and Mabel Maxine Hudgens LaRue; and his siblings, Dorothy Patillo, Juanita Downey, Gladys Eurene Phillips, Betty Winchester, Aline Buie, William LaRue and Herman Eugene Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia June Barunica; his children, Christine LaRue (William Chapman), Cheryl LaRue, Robert LaRue (Jasmin) and Walter LaRue; his siblings, Shirley Kellerman and Donald LaRue; and his grandsons, Joshua LaRue and Justin LaRue.
