She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nelson and C. Lucile Myers Deason; her husband Ronald F. Scranton; and her brother James Deason. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Holthaus (Jay); her granddaughters, Gretchen Barenberg (Joey), Maureen Holthaus and Alison Holthaus; and her sister-in-law Sonya Steeples.
