Mark L. Schartz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2020, at the age of 95, Mark L. Schartz (Larned, Kansas), born in Ellinwood, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas John and Margaret Meyeres Schartz; his wife Betty L. Henning; his son-in-law Rusty Woods; and his siblings, Art Schartz, Bill Schartz, Cecilia Piller, Irene Schartz and Wilma Zeigler.
He is survived by: his children, David Schartz, Carl Schartz (Pam), Stephen Schartz (Sara), Brian Schartz, Marian Reynolds, Donna Woods, Bernice Rebein (David) and Rita Hommertzheim (Bill). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private family funeral mass will be 10:00 a. m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding.
