He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Koett and Marcella Schmitt Koett. He is survived by: his spouse Rolinda Sherwood; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Dayon, Dawsyn, Tennessy, Drayke and Elias. He is also survived by his wife, parents, and a brother.
