He was predeceased by: his parents, Nimrod Gillaspie and Eula Pearl Gillaspie; his wife Juanita; and his siblings, Robert Gillaspie and Wilma Truhler.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Gillaspie (Barbara) of Hutchinson, KS, Judy Gillaspie of Tulsa, OK and Jeff Gillaspie (Jeanie) of Grand Junction, CO; his grandsons, Joel Gillaspie (Laurie), Michael Gillaspie, Albert McClure (Kritika) and Chad Scates (Lori); his great grandchildren, Emilee Scates and Rumi McClure; and his siblings, Morris Gillaspie (Letha) of Douglass, Don Gillaspie of South Hutchinson, Three, Virginia Bracken of Burleson, TX, Belva McBee of Tyrone, OK and Betty Davolt (Larry) of Keys, OK.. He is also survived by his sons, and two brothers.
