He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Nuss and Kathryn Elizabeth Nuss (Wagner); his son Kevin Michael Nuss; and his siblings, Larry, George Nuss and Florine Arend.
He is survived by: his wife Candice R. Colburn (Candi); his sons, Brian Nuss (Kelly) and Josh Nuss (Lindsay); and his grandchildren, Colton of Silverdale, Levi of Silverdale, Macey Nuss of Silverdale and Amelia Nuss (Milly) of Junction City.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Fischer House, a program for housing veterans and their families while they receive medical treatment.
