Jay Lawrence Giessel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay Lawrence Giessel of Larned, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob and Inez Leona Birzer Giessel; his brother Dr. Michael Giessel; and his grandson Ike. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Rene Wright (Kelly) and Cari Georgeanne Beauchamp (Sam); his stepchildren, James S. Hook (Bridget) and Amanda E. LeRoy (Andrew); his siblings, Tom Giessel (Sheryl) and Madalene Miller (Sandy); his grandchildren, Elli and Aspen; and his stepgrandchildren, Landon, Ava, Lorelai and Alethia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550-2533). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Larned Cemetery (1365 130th Ave, Larned, KS 67550).
